Poultry Processing Day

Golden Oak Farm is hosting a Poultry Processing Day on Sunday, September 4, 2016
We will be processing 75 of our broilers and will be all set up with a plucker, scalder, cooling tubs, and work spaces in the butcher shop. We plan to start right at 9:00 AM. Potluck lunch at 12:00 PM or when we finish. This event is strictly educational and intended as a cooperative farm community event. There will be no sale of meat. RSVPs appreciated especially if you wish to bring birds.
