Looking for a way to finance your hoop house? Wondering if you should be considering crop insurance? Interested in accepting SNAP benefits for your CSA?

Farmers are invited to meet representatives from USDA agencies to learn about the opportunities available to them. New Entry will host Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), Farm Service Agency (FSA), Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), UMass Extension Risk Management, and Rural Development for an evening of introductions and information sharing.

Farmers will learn about becoming eligible for USDA programs, accessing technical assistance, applying for low-interest and micro loan programs, purchasing federal crop insurance, and more! Representatives will emphasize the importance of record-keeping and highlight best practices for busy farmers.

Take this opportunity to ask the questions you’ve been wondering about, and make this your most successful season yet!

This event is free and open to the public. Parking is available on street, as well as in the lot at the corner of Mt. Hope St. & White St. and in the lot at the corner of White St. and Avon St.
