Workshop: Carbon Smart Farming, Food, and Energy
August 1, 2015 - August 2, 2015
Learn how to…
-rapidly increase soil carbon
-balance, boost & complete soil minerals
-create fully functional soil in 30 days
-charge your soil battery for optimum growth
-build a smoke-free burner to make biochar
-generate energy by controlled combustion
-assure Full Spectrum fertility & nutrient density
-rapidly increase microbial complexity and diversity
This 2-day weekend intensive training led by David Yarrow involves participants to build and operate a simple, small-scale device to produce energy from biomass while capturing carbon to sequester in soil as “biochar.” Properly prepared and applied to soil, the captured carbon of biochar initiates a cascade of changes that seeds and supports a vigorous, stable Soil Food Web able to grow plants with optimum vitality and nutrient content.
Suggested donation to cover material costs and to keep David moving in on his healing journey across Mother Earth. We want this to be accessible to all, but please give as you are able. Material gifts accepted, as well.
Suggested minimum donation:
$40 weekend
$25 one day
$15 half day
$7 lunch
Please note: Space is limited and the class is filling up fast. If interested, secure your spot ASAP
