Optimizing Yields in Beef Cattle:
Selective Breeding & Linear measurements
Part 1: July 11: Harrier Fields Farm, Schodack Landing, NY, 11am-2pm
Our initial session will focus on using linear measurements to assess body condition and market readiness of beef cattle. These measurements will become part of the larger discussion on genetic selection and strategic breeding.
To register for the two-part workshops people can email me directly and include their name, the name of the farm or organization they are affiliated with, and its location.
Priority will be given to livestock farmers in the Berkshire-Taconic region.
