Stone Soup Café is a 501(c)(3) organization serving residents of Franklin County from our location at All Souls Church in downtown Greenfield. Our work is centered around two core programs: the Pay What You Can Saturday Meal and Everybody’s Community Store.

Job Summary
Stone Soup Café is hiring a part-time Farmers Market Program Manager to run market operations and create a welcoming booth experience. This role reports to the Director of Community Engagement and is part of a collaborative team supporting the Café’s programs.
We’re seeking a candidate who is highly organized and reliable, with strong marketing skills, including creating a welcoming booth presence and social media content. This role requires detail-oriented skills to manage inventory and sales systems, as well as excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. The ideal candidate can work independently and as part of a team, oversee and collaborate closely with volunteers, and help maintain a positive, mission-driven work environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and break down the market booth
- Track and manage inventory (spreadsheets, labeling)
- Oversee volunteers during market shifts
- Run the POS system and handle sales
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
- Ensure food safety, packaging, and label creation
- Support email/CRM communications and vendor coordination
Qualifications
- Strong organization and time management
- Comfortable working independently and leading volunteers
- Clear communication and customer service skills
- Experience with spreadsheets, POS systems, and basic digital tools
- Alignment with Stone Soup Café’s mission and values
Requirements
- Available Saturdays + occasional weekday prep hours
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather
