Seeking volunteers: North Quabbin Garlic & the Arts Festival

Seeking Volunteers for a fabulous festival in Orange MA!

Be part of the 27th Annual North Quabbin Garlic and Arts Festival,  Sept 27/28th, 2025.

We are currently seeking to fill a variety of slots at this fabulous event that is fully volunteer run, supports local agriculture and the arts, and is a super positive, family-friendly community event that uplifts and unites many.

– Free weekend admission

– A beautiful volunteer t-shirt (US made) to wear and enjoy for years to come

– A treat from the wood fired bread oven during your shift

Deb Habib, from Seeds of Solidarity, is actively seeking volunteers for the compost/recycle crew. With your help, the festival will once again produce only 3 bags of trash for 8,000 people! Transforming what would be trash into fertile soil for gardens! If you are interested in being on the compost/recycle crew, read on and then contact Deb Habib directly deb@seedsofsolidarity.org

The task you do as a compost/recycle volunteer is to be at one of six compost/recycle stations on the festival field, and simply help support and advise people on what to put where (compostable, recyclable, or trash)- you get to enjoy the festival sights and sounds from your station/perch too! Deb provides full instructions prior to the festival so you know exactly what to do.

Please look at the shift options below. Let Deb Habib know ASAP if you can commit to doing one, which shift works for you, or if you are flexible.

Shift Options:

Saturday Morning Sept 27th, 9:30-1:30

Saturday Afternoon Sept 27th, 1:15-5:30

Sunday Morning Sept 28th, 9:30-1:30

Sunday Afternoon Sept 28th, 1:15-5:30

OR: If you are interested in another volunteer position at the festival, simply fill out this volunteer form and the festival volunteer coordinator will get back in touch with you.
