“CISA is an outstanding organization! Their knowledge and support have been really helpful to us–and we believe in their programs and philosophies. As a result, we have elected to name CISA in our will to support their mission for the next generation.”

There are different planned giving options available that both support CISA and fulfill your financial goals. The following overview is provided for informational purposes. Please consult a qualified legal, financial, or tax adviser before making a planned gift.
A bequest is a provision in either your will or living trust which provides that all or a portion of your estate is passed to a charitable organization(s) of your choosing. A bequest to CISA is deductible for federal estate tax purposes, and there’s no limit on the amount of the deduction.
Sample unrestricted bequest language:
I give, devise, and bequeath to CISA, with its principal offices at One Sugarloaf Street, South Deerfield, MA 01373, the sum of $ _______ or ________% of my residuary estate (or a description of the specific asset) for its general purposes without restriction.
Sample restricted bequest language:
I give, devise, and bequeath to CISA, with its principal offices at One Sugarloaf Street, South Deerfield, MA 01373, the sum of $ _______ or ________% of my residuary estate (or a description of the specific asset). This gift shall be used for ___________ (describe here the desired purpose of your gift.)
Life Insurance Policies
You can make CISA the beneficiary of your life insurance policy. Options are available that can result in immediate income tax deductions or future estate tax deductions.
Beneficiary designations provide an easy and affordable way to support CISA’s work at a future date. They cost you nothing during your lifetime, simply name CISA as the beneficiary of your IRA, 401(K), or assets from another qualified retirement plan. CISA may also be named as the contingent beneficiary of your retirement plan. Our EIN number is 04-3416862. Gifts of these assets can result in estate tax benefits.
