Hiring: Crew Leader and Farm Crew – Sub Edge Farm

Sub Edge Farm is a 300 acre certified organic diversified farm in the Farmington River Valley of Connecticut. We are hiring crew members for 2020.

HARVEST CREW LEADER

The harvest crew leader is responsible for leading the crew in daily harvest operations and oversees the harvest, washing, packing and storage of crops. Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly. Must be able to work average hours of Tuesday-Saturday 7 am – 4 pm, April-October. Farm experience required.

Pay: $15.50/hr. plus weekly produce and eggs.

FARM CREW

Our farm crew members work in all aspects of vegetable production. Responsibilities include harvesting, weeding, wash-and-pack and other farm tasks. Farm crew members work well alone or with a group. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work outside in all weather conditions. Farm experience preferred but not required. Must be able to work average hours of Tuesday-Saturday 7 am – 4 pm, April-October. Part time mornings also available

Pay: $14/hr. plus weekly produce and eggs
