Forest Grown Mushroom Inoculation Workshop

Come to the New England Wild Edibles annual inoculation workshop to be held on April 11, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Colrain, Massachusetts. Learn how to start your own mushroom farm. Participants will inoculate two logs to bring home to produce gourmet mushrooms in your own back yard. This year we will be inoculating hard wood logs with shiitake and oyster mushroom spawn. You will learn how mushrooms break down organic matter and how to provide the ideal conditions to care for your logs to maximize mushroom production. Coffee or tea and light refreshments provided.
$30 per person (bring a friend for $50)
