Seeking: Volunteer Associate Supervisors

The Hampden Hampshire Conservation District is looking for citizens, and new and seasoned farmers who are concerned with the quality of the water and soil and are looking for a way to do something about it!

HHCD works with landowners and communities in Hampden and Hampshire counties in the conservation and management of natural resources; farmland, woodland, wildlife management and farmland preservation.

Each District is governed by a volunteer Board of Supervisors with additional input from Associate Supervisors. Historically, board members are farmers and environmentally conscious landowners reflecting a wide range of people and professions.

This is an excellent way to give back to the water and land that give us so much. The only requirements are an interest in conservation and attendance at monthly board meetings. If interested, please email hampdenhampshireconservation@gmail.com
