Farm Property Insurance Workshop

Insurance coverage is one of the major budget decisions farmers make and is also one of the most complex and least well understood. In the realm of farm property insurance, in particular, it is common for local farmers to find themselves unexpectedly underinsured in the event of losses. Join this session to learn more about how to make informed decisions about this type of insurance. The meeting will be divided into two parts, with the first part including technical presentations via zoom by insurance experts, with time for questions. The second part will be a facilitated conversation among farmers to share experiences, questions, and lessons learned.
