Free

When: Thursday, April 9, 2026 from noon to 1:30pm

Where: online via zoom

Registration: Free, registration required. Click here to register.

Join UMass Extension and guests for this lunchtime webinar to learn about enterprise, or crop, budgets and using crop budgeting data in farm financial decision-making.

We’ll share some examples of enterprise budgeting tools and how and why to use them, along with one farmer’s experiences using crop budgeting tools and how he uses this information to make decisions about his farm. Understanding how much your crop is worth to you can give you a better idea how to protect it! We’ll also cover some tips on using using crop budgeting data when considering how to protect your crops through crop insurance or FSA financial program participation.

Speaker(s) / Instructor(s)

  • Vern Grubinger, UVM Extension
