Cornell Agribusiness Strategic Marketing Conference, Farmer scholarships available

The two-day conference will feature representatives from new and emerging food hub organizations, wholesale food distributors, and online marketing agencies working directly with agricultural producers. A special networking dinner at the Empire Brewing Company will enhance your industry connections and provide a tasty meal featuring local food ingredients.  A mix of agricultural producers and value-added food processors from the Northeast will be in attendance, along with extension educators, economic development officials, and agri-service providers involved in these areas.. The general goal of this conference is to improve the understanding and application of innovative agricultural marketing practices to improve firm competitiveness. The event is organized by the Cornell University Agricultural Marketing Community Development Program Work Team, with support provided by the Cornell Program on Agribusiness and Economic Development, and the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management.  Farmer scholarships are available for the first 20 farmers to register (1/2 off, $45 instead of $90). Check out the website for more information.
