About

Barn Swallow CSA continues the 20+ years of Interval farm CSA program of offering nutritious and delicious veggies at a reasonable cost to our local community. As Maureen and Rick, of Intervale Farm, have started to consider retirement and reduce their work load, their nephew, Ben, has started to pick up some of those responsibilities.

How We Grow

The plants and vegetables on the farm are grown without the use of chemical pesticides.

Community Supported Agriculture

Our CSA program consists of 20 Weeks, June thru October. We offer two share sizes, which are described below. Also we offer two pick up days, Mondays or Thursdays.

We offer a wide variety of veggies that change regularly, which are also described below. Pickups are operated on a Market Choice model. Meaning each week our members can choose which vegetables they wish to enjoy that week. Weekly pickups happen at the farm. Unfortunately we don’t offer PYO at this time.

Full Share:  $600.00 This option consists of 10-15 Items each week. Ideal for a decent  family to dine on all week or perhaps a couple/individual who enjoy freezing and canning some of the peak freshness for the winter.

Medium Share: $450.00 This option consists of 9-13 items each week. A good amount for roommates or couples to share or a veggie enthusiastic individual.
