About

The Hampshire College Farm and its Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs provide our campus and community members with local, sustainably-raised produce and meat, as well as rich educational opportunities. Begun in the late 1970s for on-campus research purposes, the farm expanded its scope in 1992 when a small group of students began a small, organic vegetable CSA. Our students and staff now grow produce on 15 acres of campus land and in two all-season hoophouses. We also raise grass-fed beef and lamb, as well as pastured, heritage breed pigs and free-range laying hens. Our products are sold through our vegetable and meat CSAs and supplied to our on-campus dining hall.

Community Supported Agriculture

Produce pick-ups are once a week in the fall for 12 weeks. You choose your pick-up time between noon and 6 p.m. Tuesday or Friday. You must pick up on the same day each week, within pick-up hours, unless you notify us in advance.

Produce is picked up at the CSA barn at the Hampshire Farm.

Meat CSA Pickups are once a month during the fall and spring semesters.
