Sign up for CISA's enewsWe are a small family farm located in Springfield MA, growing vegetables and fruit using organic, no till methods. We have a Farm Share and Farm Stand open Wednesdays and Thursdays 2 – 6 pm. We are also working with community members to develop a medicinal herb garden. We believe that all communities deserve healthy, culturally appropriate food and we hope the food we grow along with our system change work will open up access to good food for all our neighbors. We organize to create a racially just food system and to build a space where people can learn, enjoy this beautiful land, and connect across cultures.
We are a hand-scale, no till farm, growing with regenerative practices that build healthy soil and create highly nutritious crops. We do not use any harmful pesticides or herbicides.
Our Farm Stand is open from 2 – 6 pm every Wednesday and Thursday from July 1 – October 29. For weekly emails about availability and to place an order, sign up at nordicastreetcommunityfarm.com. Follow the signs for parking. We are currently operating under a tent near the house and greenhouse and will be moving into our newly renovated barn mid-July!
We offer Community Learning and Volunteer Days as well as Educational Workshops. We also have a system of trails behind the farm for walking.
We have pick-your-own Elderberries, Herbs, and Flowers. Herbs and flowers are offered most weeks, and elderberries only while in season (late July and August). Email nordicastreetcf@gmail.com about availability.
We have a 25 members mixed vegetable and fruit CSA, with distribution on Tuesdays from 3 – 6 pm. Email nordicastreetcf@gmail.com to learn more and for availability information. We have an equitable sliding scale fee structure.
