Building Immersion, Life Tools – Seeds of Solidarity

Join Seeds of Solidarity to learn to use a variety of hand and power tools, and gain or expand your building skills, ever-helpful to farmers, artists, or anyone seeking to increase your own DIY resources. You’ll experience the basics of wall, roof and deck framing, insulation and sheet-rock. Proper tool use and building techniques can inspire you to construct your own shed or studio, furniture, or even a tiny house! Along with plenty of hands-on experience, this weekend workshop includes conversation to support participants’ design and build ideas and dreams, all in a beautiful setting and in community with others. Facilitator/teachers are Seeds of Solidarity founders Ricky (he/him) and Deb (she/her), and farmer/builder Emi (they/them). Sliding scale $75- $175. ($250 value). Lunches included, rustic on-site overnight camping possible. Pre-registration required, space limited, capped at 20. Ages 18 and up welcome to register.
