This hands-on workshop will help identify your farm’s unique story, and explain the steps towards shaping it into a unique brand that will be the foundation of all your marketing efforts. We’ll talk about what makes a strong brand, the essential elements of branding, who your target audiences are, and how best to reach them with your brand. The workshop will share several low-expense tools you can easily use to kick start your farm’s branding and marketing, and will identify resources worth exploring for deeply integrated, meaningful branding that will ultimately boost sales. Whether you are looking to refresh your farm’s brand, build on the brand you’ve established, or have no brand at all and want to get started, we’ll work together to find the tools to help you best tell your story.

About the Presenter

Alessandra Mele is the founder of The Homegrown Studio, a small creative marketing agency focused on agrarian businesses. After several years of managing marketing and communications efforts for a worldwide animal health care brand focused on agricultural audiences, she took her corporate marketing skills and applied them at the local, grassroots level, aiming to help farms and small businesses best tell their stories for market success. She lives and works in Wilbraham, where she helps manage her family’s small farm as well – a lifelong love that has fostered her appreciation for the land and all its caretakers.Website
