CISA’s Fall Buyer/Grower Networking Session

CISA invites all retail, restaurant and institutional procurement managers to attend our fall meet and greet. This will give buyers the opportunity to meet with Local Hero member farmers and specialty producers to create new business relationships for procuring locally grown food and products. In addition to mingling there will be three panel discussions whereby local purchasers share their expertise and needs when it comes to purchasing local food. Restaurant owner, Helen Kahn from Cup & Top Café will share how one can forge relationships with restaurants, Eric Stocker from Squash Inc. and Rebekah Hanlon from Valley Green Feast will talk about how to sell/purchase from distributors that source locally grown and Chris Cavallari from Serio’s Market will share what retailers are looking for when it comes to building new wholesale relationships.
