Demo: Making Lacto-Fermented Vegetables and Kimchi

Join CISA on Friday, August 26 at the Springfield Central Downtown Farmers’ Market for a demonstration on making lacto-fermented vegetables and kimchi using fresh, local vegetables available right there at the market! CISA’s own Julie Robinson will be there to show off how easy it can be to pickle your own vegetables, as well as answer questions you might have about CISA and the local food community. And of course, don’t forget to visit the vendors at the market to find fresh, delicious local fruits, vegetables, dairy, meat, specialty products, and more!
