Farm-to-Table Dinner at Red Fire Farm

After a day of hiking, leafing peeping or pumpkin picking, you’ll want to be sure to join this quintessential New England autumn event at Red Fire Farm in Granby. Wheelhouse Farm Truck and Catering will be preparing a delicious multi-course meal using the bounty from the certified organic farm. Not only will you be led on a tour of the CSA farm, you’ll also engage in a discussion about the partnerships local farms maintain with The Food Bank, and how their healthy produce makes its way to underserved communities throughout western Massachusetts through the Mobile Food Bank program.

The Food Banks is proud of its longstanding relationship with area farmers, who partner with them to ensure that everyone has access to healthy food, regardless of their circumstances. Last year, one million of the ten million pounds we distributed was grown right here in the Pioneer Valley by 28 local farms.

Schedule

3:00 PM – Arrive and gather.
3:15 PM – Tour of Red Fire Farm.
3:45 PM – Guests take their seats.
4:00 PM – First course served and speaker.
5:30 PM – Concludes formal part of event and guests gradually depart.

Should there be inclement weather, we will choose whether to move dinner inside the barn or to reschedule.
