Farmers needed for focus groups in MA!

Join us for a discussion on the affects of healthcare and child care on farm businesses.

Researchers at the University of Vermont are seeking farmers to participate in listening sessions as part of a study on healthcare and child care. This study is looking at the ways healthcare and child care costs impact farm business in the Northeast and is intended to help develop policy that minimizes the challenges and maximizes the opportunities farm families face when making household-level decisions, such as healthcare and child care.

11:00am – 12:30pm: Balancing Work and Family
How do children impact your farm operation?
Participants must be farmers with children but no other knowledge or experience is needed.

1:00pm – 2:30pm: Farming and Health
How does healthcare impact your farm operation?
Participants must be farmers but no other knowledge or experience is needed.

Lunch will be provided and thank you gifts will be given to all participants
