Gardening the Community’s Annual Spring Plant Sale

Please join us in our annual Spring Plant Sale Event, happening this year rain or shine in conjunction with the Springfield Food Policy Council’s Gardeners’ Gathering (see below for more details).

There will be workshops on how to build a raised bed and how to jump start your backyard or container garden, sign-ups for GTC EATS!, and a work day. So don’t forget to bring your gloves, water bottle and a lunch and help us prepare beds, weed and plant. Get your hands dirty and join the fun!

You can pre-order flowers, vegetable plants, herbs and more for spring through fall gardening at INCREDIBLE savings!! Perfect for Mother’s Day.  For a full selection, you must order and pay ahead of time. You will pick up on Saturday, May 11, at 256 Hancock St.

To pre-order your plants have the order form sent to you via email: Sales@gardeningthecommunity.org. We will also have a more limited selection of plants for sale on May 11 – first come, first serve. DEADLINE FOR ADVANCE ORDERS IS SUNDAY, MAY 5!!!
