GTC Harvest Celebration and Pancake Breakfast

Join Gardening in the Community youth, staff and board members for an autumn morning full of homemade pancakes, music, raffles, celebration and fun at Alden Baptist Church in Springfield. We’ve had a bountiful growing season full of good food, youth leadership development, and community support.  Come join us to celebrate the harvest and cultivate together the values, connections and vision that we share and that keep us growing stronger! Space is limited, so get your tickets in advance. All are welcome. Pancake Breakfast Menu:  GTC’s famous “harvest” pancakes, real maple syrup, local honey, homemade apple butter, homemade whipped cream, and more!  New this year:  banana pancakes (made with fair trade bananas) and a cider press where you can try your hand at making cider from local apples.  Hot drinks and orange juice too.  All delicious and as locally sourced as possible!
