Join Harris Beach, PLLC and Farm Credit East on Tuesday, November 17 at 9 a.m. for a webinar titled, “H-2A: Getting the Agricultural Workers You Need Legally.” This webinar is free to attend.
This 90-minute webinar is the second in a Seasonal Business Labor and Immigration Webinar Series. This webinar will provide an overview of the H-2A process in 2021, including employer obligations and compliance requirements. It will also cover what constitutes “agricultural” employment, whether you qualify for H-2A or H-2B, and how to navigate the DOL’s “Single Employer Test” in H-2A and whether year-round employment still possible. Other topics will include, the new AEWR methodology, paid sick leave for H-2A workers and an update from NYS Department of Labor.
