Hydrangeas – So Many Varieties, So Little Time

A series of educational evening walks and talks around the nursery.  These informal talks are full of information by experts in the field.  Sometimes there will be handouts, sometimes drawings, always good company and useful information. We start at 6:00, but feel free to show up any time and catch part of it. Rich Bartoes – Imperial Nurseries, Wholesale Shrub and Hydrangea Grower, will review many of the 50 varieties of hydrangeas that his company grows, adding their advantages and specific traits for each one. He will also answer the age old questions of pruning, soil acidity vs. color and the best hydrangeas for different sites. Bring your questions and he will bring some giveaways, as well as answers.
