Livestock Institute of Southern New England 2018 Conference

The Livestock Institute of Southern New England (TLI) is hosting its 2nd annual livestock conference on January 28th, 2018. TLI promotes best practices in animal husbandry to further strengthen the agricultural activities of the region. This conference is designed for producers of all experience levels and all farm sizes. We are seeking speakers on the following general topics, and are open to related ideas and suggestions:
- Marketing
- Silvopasture
- Animal welfare basics
- Raising rabbits
- Basics of raising animals: poultry, cattle, goats, pigs
- Inventory management from pasture to package
- Goatscaping
- Advanced discussions on pasture
- Pest and rodent management
Proposals are due by October 15th.
