Maple Sugaring Class

Do you have access to any property with trees on it? If you do, chances are, you can probably make your own maple syrup! Many common trees can be tapped–not just sugar maples. Maple sugaring is a time-sensitive endeavor and late February to late March is the time, so get ready to jump straight in!
In one afternoon, learn everything you need to know about making maple syrup in your kitchen from the trees in your backyard! We will discuss equipment, setup, timing, & process and drill taps, collect & reduce sap into syrup (weather-permitting).
