Massachusetts Fiber Meet and Greet

Are you a fiber farmer, processor, or artisan in Massachusetts?

Join CISA and our sister Buy Local organizations in a state-wide online networking event for anyone who’s part of the Massachusetts fibershed. This event is a chance for farmers and producers from across our state to meet one another, connect, and discuss the current state of the fiber industry in Massachusetts and its future.

Overview:

Amy DuFault of Southeastern New England Fibershed will open with a presentation on her findings from a survey of wool and fiber farmers in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Topics covered will include marketing strategies and pricing tips for local wool and fiber producers and artisans. There will then be facilitated breakout sessions for farmers, artisans, and processors to connect and share thoughts on processing, marketing, and pricing fiber before a final check-in and discussion.

Attendees will also come away with a contact list of the other producers, artisans, and processors across the state in the session.
