Making Food Fun at Springfield HarvestFest

It’s harvest time in the city!
The Springfield Business Improvement District presents its Harvest Fest, featuring pumpkins, on Saturday, October 19th, from 11am-3pm at the Springfield Quadrangle.
CISA joins the fun with a focus on apples! We will offer a taste test of three apple varieties, sips of apple cider, tastes of apple sauce and apple butter, all from Bashista Orchards in Southampton.
Kids and their caregivers can learn more about this fall crop, what’s in season in our region, how to find local farmers’ markets, and how to use HIP to purchase local food.
Homegrown Springfield will share the fun by offering seasonal muffins and parent information at this event.
The schedule for the day from the organizers includes:
