FoodLove! has joined forces with the wonderful Lotus & Hawk Holistic Center to offer you a new workshop, their most robust yet!

Mindful Eating & Meal Prep: an exploration & practice workshop

Saturday, May 5
10am – 2pm

Lotus & Hawk Holistic Center
Chicopee, MA

$65 includes all materials, demonstration, and a vegetarian lunch.

Come de-stress, find your creative side, and learn how mindfulness can help you chose and prepare some delicious, healthy meals while you enjoy a few hours in support of your good health.

Here are the major topics participants will explore together:

  • Mindfulness, where it came from, what it is and why it is so important and relevant to our lives
  • Effects of mindfulness vs. mindlessness in our lives, and how we so easily succumb to checking out
  • Common mindfulness practices you can benefit from right now
  • Mindful eating, what it is, and how we begin to practice it in our daily lives
  • Practice eating in a truly mindful way by enjoying a healthy, delicious vegetarian lunch together
  • Mindful meal prep, getting comfortable with your food, and learning how to cook healthy, whole foods in a simple, adaptable way

The topics you’ll be exploring will bring quality and serenity to your experience of feeding yourself and your family, and you’ll leave with new skills you can put into practice immediately.
