Opening Celebration of GTC’s New Farm Stand

Come join in the housewarming of a new community space!
The Farm Stand will be a lively new space to buy fresh produce grown just outside its doors at the Walnut Street Farm, as well as produce from local farms. It will also be a space for GTC Eats! Farm Share pick-ups, cooking workshops, and so much more.
The celebration on June 2nd will take place at the Walnut Street Farm, 200 Walnut Street in Springfield from 10 am to 12 pm. Festivities with food will begin at 10, followed by a brief program at 10:30, farm tours, children’s activities and blueberry bush planting. Community members are invited to stay from 12 pm to 2 pm to help with farm projects.
Starting in June, Farm Stand hours will be:
Wednesday: 11 am to 7 pm
Thursday: 11 am to 7 pm
Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm
