Permaculture Design: Connecting You With Your Backyard Landscape

Learn how you can use Permaculture Design in your backyard to create a healthy ecosystem that produces food and looks great. Ashley will focus on your relationship to your residential landscape as seen through the unique lens of a permaculture designer. He’ll use case studies of real projects to describe the process, from articulating your goals to employing design strategies, and identifying what is and isn’t working in your landscape.

Ashley Schenk has six years of experience as a natural builder and permaculture designer. He recently co-founded a permaculture landscaping cooperative, Broadfork Permaculture, and has been working throughout Franklin and Hampshire Counties designing and implementing healthy backyard landscapes.
