Providing positive and constructive feedback in the farm workplace
Join CISA and John Henderson of the Employers Association of the Northeast for a workshop exploring the unique challenges faced by farm managers and crew leaders who lead and give direction to their co-workers and staff members. Participants will learn tactics for giving both positive and constructive feedback to improve performance and drive employee engagement. This session will also speak to the unique challenges faced by middle managers who have increased responsibility coupled with limited authority and sometimes perform similar duties as those they lead. In the session, you will learn to recognize what stops you from sharing feedback and learn tools to move beyond that, discover ways to include the employee in the feedback process, and understand the impact that providing effective feedback will have on your team.
