Scything: A Newly-popular Practical Art at Wildside Gardens

Come join in at Wildside Gardens a well-established off-grid homestead and permaculture site in Conway, MA.
Presented by Emmet Van Dreische
Emmet owns a coppiced Christmas tree farm in Ashfield and spends the rest of the year editing scientific manuscripts, scything people’s properties and teaching spoon carving. This year he will reprise two popular workshops, the first on soil fertility and the second on how to use a scythe.
Workshop will be free of charge for Conway residents, with a small fee for others. Workshop presenters will be offered expenses plus an honorarium.
Workshop is from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, rain or shine, suggested donation $10, attendance limited to 12.
