Session 3: Adjusting
Wednesday Jan 26, 2022 or Monday Feb 14, 2022
A budget is simply a numerical representation of your plan for the year. Even if your plans are thrown for a loop, it still helps to look back at your budget, so you can make real-time adjustments when things go off the rails.
This session will prepare you to address problems and create solutions before you continue down a path that is just not working.
You will come out of this session understanding:
- The process of comparing your budget to your real numbers.
- How to assess what changes you need to make to get back on track.
- How to make adjustments to your budget to ensure that it helps you going forward.
Who It’s For:
These trainings are designed for farmers and food business owners with moderate or greater experience in operations and who have an established financial recordkeeping system in place. Priority will be given to businesses in RI, MA, and CT.
Fishermen, aquaculturists, and small processors using local farm and sea ingredients are welcome and encouraged to attend.
