Summer Harvest Dinner at the Gill Tavern

With such abundance bursting out of the ground now, we are excited to offer a very special dinner on Monday, August 17 — a seven-course tasting menu inspired by the summer bounty of our gardens and neighbor farms, and celebrating all that is outstanding in the field. We are also very happy to welcome back Jordan Scott, as guest Chef for the evening. Jordan was Chef at the Tavern for four years until this past January, when he moved north to take a position in Keene. He has always enjoyed putting together these special dinners over the years, and our annual summer harvest dinner in particular. Once again, Chef Jordan has created an inspired menu that is a playful journey through the tastes of summer in imaginative and fun preparations. Menu below!


Micro greens salad
Quick-pickled cucumber, roasted beets, house-made ricotta, thyme, caramelized onions

Eggplant mille-feuille
Roasted peppers, local yogurt, garlic greens, chili oil

Beet tartare
Sourdough crostini, cured egg yolks, capers, parsley

French onion consommé
Brioche and caramelized onion sandwich, scallions, Gruyere oil

Basil bavarois
Cured tomato, Gruyere chip, balsamic, roasted onion, greens

Chiffonade Kale, roasted garlic, smoked corn

Berry parfait
Vanilla mousse, local berries, mint, seasonal fruit
