Winter Tree Identification

A day long tour with naturalist Walker Korby exploring identification of trees through bark, branches, and buds. Participants will become familiar with a variety of keys and field guides, and learn some of the life history and growth patterns of some of our most beloved species. Bring a notebook and writing implement for journaling, a favorite tree guide if you have one, and clothing to be outdoors with for most of the day.
