Workshop: Garden Planning

The first step towards a successful garden is a good plan.
In this interactive workshop you will walk away with a planting diagram for your edible garden this year. We’ll touch on all of the issues that inform planting decisions: plant characteristics, crop rotation, soil characteristics, companion planting & aesthetics. We’ll also discuss garden layout, planting schedules & extending the season.
Please come prepared–the more you know about your plot, the more we we can help you make a solid plan. Take note of your garden’s layout, size, slope, sun exposure, soil characteristics & condition, drainage, and past successes & failures.
