Workshop: Local Wool Rugs

Go green and support New England farms! Feltmaker Chris White will lead a weekend workshop on how to felt a durable, lasting rug for your home using selected wools from the Pioneer Valley and other small farms farther a-field. We’ll be using beautiful, rich, hand-dyed wools and embellishments to decorate the background of natural sheep colors (brown, white or gray). Registration is $225 for an individual / $375 for two individuals. Materials fees will vary depending on the size of the rug and type of wool used (approx. $85 for a 3′ x 4′ embellished rug).
