Hiring: Clerks – Atlas Farm Store

The Atlas Farm Store is hiring both part- and full-time clerks!

The Atlas Farm Store is located on 5&10 in South Deerfield and is a bustling marketplace for local produce, dairy, meat, dry goods, and more. Community engagement is a big part of what we do, from donations to local partners to seasonal events & festivals. We are a strong team of 16 staff members looking to add a couple more clerks who are interested in being a part of our local food system!

This position is responsible for maintaining inventory on the sales floor, working on the cash register, receiving orders from vendors, caring for plants and seasonal offerings, assuring quality on veggies and other produce, and assisting customers. Clerks are on their feet during the shift and frequently lifting 20-30lbs, with the occasional need to lift up to 50lbs. Must have basic computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team & communicate.

Experience working with the public in a retail or comparable position necessary, and experience or interest in local food production is a plus. Looking for long-term hires– the store is open year round and though there is some seasonal variation, this is a year-round position.
