Hiring: Customer Support team member – Marty’s Local
Marty’s Local is a Western Massachusetts-based food distributor offering a substantial array of source-identified and sustainably grown local and regional foods. Founded in 2016, we have taken an innovative approach to food distribution by partnering with more than 75 farmers and food producers, primarily located in Western Massachusetts, New York, and New England. We deliver these local foods, along with foods from farther afield, to our customers six days a week.
We are hiring a full-time Customer Support team member in South Deerfield, MA. Our Customer Support team acts as the primary line of communication with our customers. Team members manage customer inquiries, resolve issues, set up new accounts, conduct customer outreach, process orders, and serve as dispatch for drivers. The Customer Support team has a detailed understanding of our just-in-time ordering system and our array of offerings and works to build customer loyalty through exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will possess a sharp intellect, a strong customer service background, an excellent attitude, a good sense of humor, a strong work ethic, and a keen interest in strengthening our local food system. $16-$18/hour and includes benefits.
