Hiring: Director of Horticulture – Connecticut College

Connecticut College Arboretums’ has a  newly created Director of Horticulture position.

We are at an exciting time in our development with the Arboretum having recently assumed responsibility for the College’s Grounds Department. This merger allows all 750 acres of the Connecticut College’s property to be managed under the mission and vision of the Arboretum. With a long history focusing on ecological land management, research and conservation we are excited to build off this foundation as we expand our horticultural operations. The Director of Horticulture position is critical in our next phase of development and will be an exciting opportunity for someone interested in botanical collections, building a horticultural program, and the development of new gardens and ecological landscapes.
