Hiring: Farm Operations Assistant – Diemand Farm

Diemand Farm in Wendell, MA is currently hiring for a Farm Operations Assistant. Key responsibilities include operating farm equipment; maintaining farm grounds and landscaping; caring for animals; compost and grounds management duties; and routine farm maintenance.This position will assist the Farm Operations Manager with equipment maintenance and repair, carpentry projects, and assisting with on-site poultry processing. The Assistant will be welcomed to offer input on farm operations and will have the opportunity to learn to use a wide range of agricultural equipment, including the possibility of obtaining their CDL license. There is potential for job growth for the right candidate, including taking on increased management or supervisory responsibilities and/or transitioning into a full managerial role at the farm.
