Hiring: Farm stand worker – Quonquont Farm

Are you the kind of person who loves to go to parties just so you can mix and mingle? Are you curious about new people and what makes them tick? We are looking for friendly, outgoing people to help us run our farmstand. If you can talk a dog off a meat truck, have a great host’s knack for putting everyone at ease, and leave human interactions feeling charged up, we have the job for you!

Your daily duties will include directing pickers to ripe fruit, running the cash register, restocking shelves, sorting produce, and TALKING. On a busy day at the farmstand, you’ll talk to hundreds of people from all walks of life. If you are a hardworking, chatty soul with basic math skills who is available to work at least one weekend day, we want to hear from you. You’ll join our team from late June to mid-to-late October. Prior retail or restaurant experience will work in your favor. The starting wage is $16 to $17 an hour, depending on your experience.
