Hiring: Farm Workers – E. Cecchi Farms

E. Cecchi Farms is a fourth generation family owned business located in Feeding Hills, Mass. We have served the local area with our own fresh produce, bedding plants, and hanging baskets from Easter to Halloween each year since 1946. We take pride in growing a wide variety of quality plants and produce for our Springfield Street farm stand. We also sell vegetables wholesale to local supermarkets, restaurants, and food distributors.

We will be hiring for full time seasonal positions, typically running from May until November. Working on our farm is hard work, which requires strength and endurance. This job contains repetitive movements, as well as standing, walking, bending, and lifting for long periods of time. Duties include all aspects associated with the planting, cultivating, and harvesting of fruit and vegetables in the greenhouse and the fields in all weather conditions,
including extreme heat and rain.

Applicants must be able to work 9-10 hours a day, six days a week, lift heavy objects, have good listening skills, and keep a positive mindset.

Hours are 7-5 (approx.), with one weekend day and some holidays required. Start and end times are variable. Starting wage is $12.50/hr and may be addressed based on performance. Work tools, supplies, and
equipment will be provided at no cost.
