Eastie Farm is hiring!

 Eastie Farm is looking for an organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Food Program Coordinator.

Produce for the People, or the Food Program, runs a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, integrating free and affordable shares into a market based farm share program each year. We structure our CSA this way to help achieve our goal of  creating a more equitable and sustainable food system. We do this by supporting local farms, addressing food insecurity, and helping our community members experience the benefits of a sustainable local food system.

 The Food Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all the parties involved from farms to families so everything flows smoothly, overseen by the Food Program Manager. This includes: assisting with program logistics – deliveries, distributions, etc.; program administration – metrics tracking, vendor relations and communications – marketing, social media and external communications, and general community engagement.
