Hiring: Greenhouse Assistant-Red Fire Farm
The Greenhouse Assistant at Red Fire will help oversee our yearly bedding plant growing plan and oversee the seeding and care of plants for bedding plant enterprise. We grow bedding plants for our own retail outlets in additional to wholesale customers and other farms. The Greenhouse Assistant is also responsible for the seeding and care for our field plants, as defined by our field crop plan, which is generated by the farm manager. Red Fire has more than 100 acre in cultivation for its own vegetable operation.
Work in the greenhouse kicks off our busy growing season and we need an assistant who is able to execute seeding plans, tend to plants from propagation, to potting up until they are delivered to our retail outlets and customers. The Greenhouse Assistant must also be available to work weekends for watering and venting greenhouse purposes.
