Agro-Eco Project Internship Program

Hours: 20 Hrs per week, starting March/April ending in October
Compensation: $16 per hour
Perks: weekly veggies

The Agro-Eco Project is a small not for profit farm located in Rutland MA. We are a no-till operation that emphasizes the practices of agroecology and regenerative farming. Our main focus is to provide fresh produce to our communities through weekly donations to local food pantries. We farm annuals, perennials and utilize the help of ducks. Position Description
As part of our internship program, you will assist our farm manager Katie to carry out day to day operations at our property. These may include basic farming tasks such as spreading compost, transplanting and weeding. You will also be assisting our team putting together our weekly/bi-weekly veggie donations to local food pantries.

Requirements:
Able to lift 30lbs
Willing to work in inclement weather
Strong work ethic
Enthusiastic about regenerative agriculture
Access to a vehicle and valid license
