Kitchen Garden Farm is hiring an experienced tractor operator to join our farm’s Production Crew for the 2022 season. Possibility of 4 day/week winter work starting November 1. Must be willing to work full time (Monday through Saturday) April-November and able to lift 50 lbs. Hours are generally 7am-5pm M-F and 8am-1pm every other Saturday, up to 50 hours per week in peak season.

Responsibilities include greenhouse seeding, tillage, planting, cultivation, hand weeding, irrigation, pest and fertility management, vehicle and equipment maintenance, bulk harvest, and other farm tasks. We are looking for highly energetic, motivated and passionate individuals who want to join our farm’s core team to produce high quality organic vegetables.

Minimum two years’ previous farm experience including at least one year of tractor operation required. Valid driver’s license, strong attention to detail, safe handling of equipment, ability to work independently and on a team, and eagerness to learn are all essential. On the job training provided. Must be willing to commit to the full 2022 season.

Starting wage is $17/hour plus overtime > 40 hours, plus farm lunch provided M-F and unlimited vegetables.
